“It’s so lovely to speak to a human.”

A client shared this with me recently at the end of our sleep consultation.

She told me she’d tried everything.

The sleep apps.
The baby books.
Google searches.
ChatGPT…

But what she needed wasn’t more information.

Sometimes you need someone to listen to your specific situation, answer your questions, reassure you when you’re doubting yourself and help you make sense of all the advice coming at you.

And as she said it, I could see her shoulders drop - something heavy lifted.

Her family now had a plan🤍

Before you say goodbye to your toddler’s nap, it might be worth waiting a little longer.

Many toddlers go through a nap refusal phase around 2 but aren’t actually ready to drop it yet.

While some toddlers do stop napping around this age, many continue to nap until age 3 and beyond.

Oh that fear of going back to work on broken sleep.

Trying to show up.
Keep up.
Be present.

Sitting next to someone who enjoyed a full, uninterrupted night’s sleep, while you’ve been awake multiple times with your little one.

Yet somehow you’re both expected to perform the same.

It’s something I’ve experienced myself and it’s why I’m SO passionate about bringing together my background in HR, wellbeing and baby sleep.

Because sleep deprivation doesn’t just stay at home, it shows up at work too.

If you’d love to see baby sleep support offered through your workplace, DM me HR and I’ll send you an email you can pass to your HR or People Team 📧

Let’s be honest, it’s hard not to compare, especially in those WhatsApp group chats where it can suddenly feel like everyone else’s baby is sleeping better, longer, easier.

I’ve used this quote a lot recently. So I’m leaving it here as a gentle reminder that your baby’s sleep journey will be different from everyone else’s - and that’s okay.

Keep celebrating the small wins.

You and your little one are on your own path. You will get there and easier times will come 🤍

Imagine having 2 hours to yourself in the middle of the day, every day ☕️🙌🏻

Time to sit down and enjoy a hot cuppa, get a few jobs done, exercise and enjoy some you time.

If your little one is taking short naps and it’s working for you, there’s no need to change anything.

If, however, your baby is waking after 30 minutes and it’s starting to feel hard, things can improve.

Start by looking at:
✨ Sleep environment
✨ Awake windows
✨ A consistent pre-nap routine
✨ How your baby falls asleep

And if you’ve tried all the tips, read all the blogs and you’re still feeling stuck, my 30 Minute Sleep Recovery Call (£59) can help identify exactly what’s getting in the way of longer naps.

Being able to have a few reliable hours to yourself in the middle of the day is pretty dreamy and I’d love to help get you there.

DM NAPS and I’ll send you more information x

A family I went onto support shared this on their initial enquiry form to me:

“Everything online feels so confusing and conflicting.”

I totally get it.

My best tip is to follow a few sleep consultant who share your values. People who make you feel calmer, not more overwhelmed.

And always those who work in line with NHS safe sleep guidance and The Lullaby Trust - that’s a non-negotiable.

If you’re feeling stuck in the overwhelm and just want a clear plan that feels right for your family, my consultations are always a safe space to talk things through.

Less second-guessing, more clarity and confidence… and ultimately better sleep for everyone.

If you’re feeling exhausted right now, please know that with the right support, sleep can get better. Gently, safely and in a way that feels right for your family.

This lovely family is proof - from broken nights to sleeping through, just in time for life with a newborn 🙌🏻☺️

Their sleep plan also included some tips on how to prepare their little one for becoming a big sister - because these changes can impact sleep too.

Choosing support for your little one’s sleep is a big decision 🤍

That’s why I was so intentional about my training.

I qualified as an Infant Sleep Coach through The Positively Parenthood Sleep School - choosing a course that gave me a strong, science-backed understanding of sleep, alongside real, hands-on experience supporting families.

Because sleep isn’t just about routines… and one size doesn’t fit all.

My approach looks at your whole baby - from what’s happening inside their body (sleep hormones) to their temperament, comfort levels and your parenting style.

And always following safe sleep guidelines from The Lullaby Trust.

Since then, I’ve supported 100+ families in creating more restful days and peaceful nights ✨

If you’re feeling exhausted or unsure where to start, I’m here. I offer a free 15-minute intro call to find out more.
