Soulbathing My name is Heidi and I live in Worle, North Somerset, in a beautiful peaceful area, backed by trees and parkland.

I am a creative person and am passionate about nature, photography, my home, floristry, needle felting and many other crafts. I have always been drawn to helping others and am trained in Indian Head massage, Reiki and more recently as a gong bath/sound practitioner. I understand that the eb and flow of life can be draining at times. We need to step off the treadmill and to reconnect with and nurtu

re ourselves. I believe giving ourselves the time, space and permission to just stop for a while and simply be, helps us move more freely through life's demands and navigate a clearer path. I have had much loss in recent years and started having sound baths to help work through my grief, in particular the deeply resonating sounds of gongs. Their huge commanding presence brought me a sense of calm that I had never experienced before. They moved me so much, that I learned to play myself, with Sheila Whitaker, a musician and world renowned gong practitioner. I wanted to be able to offer personal gong baths with relaxation, luxury, peace and comfort in mind. I now have a beautiful peaceful room in my home especially for gong baths for one or two people. I can assure that under my care, you will be in a safe place to connect deeply with yourself and relax deeply.

🌿 How Peace Becomes More Important With Age

Nobody really talks about
How your personality changes
As you get older.

Slowly, quietly, something shifts.

You stop caring about impressing people.
You stop chasing approval.
You stop trying to fit into places
Where you never truly belonged.

Instead, you start wanting something simpler.

Peace.

You begin valuing rest over noise.
Balance over constant pressure.
And calm environments
Over chaotic ones.

Things that once felt important —
Status, attention, comparison —
Gradually lose their weight.

And you start protecting your energy
In ways you never did before.

You choose fewer but deeper relationships.
You speak less but understand more.
You walk away from drama
Without feeling the need to explain.

In Buddhist wisdom, this is the mind
Becoming more aware of what truly matters.

When awareness grows,
Unnecessary attachments slowly fall away.

🌿 Peace becomes more valuable than approval.
🌿 Balance becomes more important than busyness.
🌿 Quiet becomes more meaningful than noise.

And that is not becoming distant.

It is becoming clear.

🪷 With time, the heart learns
That a peaceful life
Is far more valuable
Than a crowded one.

Healing is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like rest.

After living in stress, fear, or survival mode for a long time, the body stays tense and alert.
When healing finally begins, the body realizes it is safe.

Then something beautiful happens... it slows down.

You may feel tired.
You may need more sleep.
You may crave quiet and peace.

This is not laziness.

Your body is simply catching up on the calm it was denied for so long.

Rest gently.
Healing takes softness, not pressure. 🌿
