Heard an amazing story today from a client, we were talking about D day and she spoke about her dad who got shot in the leg by the Germans and his platoon said there’d be back to pick him up once the town was cleared anyways a German came to where he was injured and said to her dad I hate this war in broken English and I’m to kill you or you’ll kill me …. But I’m not going to do it so I’m going to shoot my gun in the air and you’re going to put all that blood from your wound onto your chest and pretend to be dead so when we sweep through later you won’t be alive and the German army left and his battalion came back for the dead and wounded and he told his story but only once he didn’t like to talk about what happened in the war ###
