We are Stronger Together 💚💙 We are a support group based in West Cumbria for anyone with a cancer diagnosis; the group is open to friends and family too. We have been active since 2013, offering a safe space for conversations, peer advice, events, sign posting and fundraising.

If you are out there and you have cancer or have had cancer and need to talk, we are here. Whether it’s a chat on the phone, a message or a coffee - we have a group of volunteers who would be happy to talk.

This event is open to anyone facing cancer or supporting those with cancer - we have lots of friends and family who come along for a chat, peer advice and support. 💙💚 We understand it’s daunting stepping into a new environment, but we do what we can to make you feel comfortable, welcome and in a safe space to talk.

Refreshments will be available! ☕️🧁

This catch up is open to everyone, so please come along and join us 🫶🏻 no need to book, just turn up to The Ivy Club, Bransty. Feel free to come along with a friend, family member or colleague. We have plenty of room 🤗

Ice creams, crisps, chocolate, biscuits, bars, water and flavoured water have been delivered to The Henderson Suite this week! Snacks are so important when patients are having treatment and we like to keep the cupboards stocked up! 🍫🍬🍦🥤

All of this was bought with funds from Ged Blaney & Arthur Lamb Memorial Day 2025!

We recently paid a visit to The Loweswater Suite with a donation of £1,000 which was raised at the funeral of Justine Mitchinson.

We were joined by Justine’s husband Ben and daughter, Jess to hand over some slide sheets - making it easier to move patients while they are in bed. For full transparency, these sheets cost around £970 to purchase, so this is such a fantastic donation which will benefit the suite and the patients, ongoing.

The family were keen to give back to The Loweswater Suite as Justine was so well cared for here 🫶🏻 Thank you so much for supporting Stronger Together 💙💚✨
