She hadn't stopped smiling since she left the scan room.

Her partner told us she watched the video back three times before they even got home. Three times. And each time, the same quiet little gasp when their baby's face came into view. 💛

That's the thing about a 3D bonding scan. It isn't just an image on a screen. It's the first proper hello. The curve of a cheek, a tiny nose, lips pressed together in that unmistakable little pout. Suddenly, the baby you've been carrying feels like someone you already know.

One mum came in for a 3D/4D scan at 24 weeks and watched her baby yawn on screen. Not a flicker. A full, unmistakable yawn, hands drifting up to the face like they'd done it a hundred times before.

Most parents expect a blurry black-and-white outline. HD 3D/4D scanning shows something completely different.

Here are 3 things you can actually see. 👶

1. Your baby's face in real detail. Nose, lips, cheeks, and often the first wisps of hair. Many parents say this is the moment pregnancy truly becomes real.

2. Movement as it happens. Yawns, waves, little hands finding their face. The "4D" means the image updates live while your baby moves inside you.

3. The features NHS scans skip. Fingers, toes, ears, tiny expressions. Standard 12 and 20-week appointments are for clinical measurements, not exploration, so there simply isn't time to linger on the small details.
