🥇 A GOLD MEDALLIST. A WORLD RECORD HOLDER. AND TWO PAINFUL FOOT CONDITIONS.

Years after competing at the very highest level of sport, Dominic Bradley came to us with two separate problems affecting his foot:

A painful heel spur.
Plantar fasciitis.

Rather than treating everything with one approach, Dominic's treatment plan was tailored to the individual problems identified during his assessment.

💉 Curacorn® was used to provide therapeutic cushioning in relation to the painful heel spur.

💉 PODtox® was used as an advanced injection therapy for his plantar fasciitis.

Two different problems. Two different treatment approaches. One individual treatment plan.

We were given the opportunity to follow Dominic's journey and document his experience — from discussing the problems he was experiencing, through his treatment and beyond.

And rather than us telling you what it was like, we wanted Dominic to tell you himself.

🎥 This is Dominic's story.

AFTER THE FINISH LINE
A British Champion's Foot Health Story

A huge thank you to Dominic for allowing us to document and share his journey.

💡 Did You Know?

Plantar fasciitis isn't always just "heel pain."

Persistent heel pain can significantly affect mobility, sleep, physical activity and overall quality of life. While many patients improve with conservative treatments such as stretching, orthotics and footwear advice, some continue to experience symptoms despite months of treatment.

For appropriately selected patients, medical injectable therapies may provide another option as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

At PODtox®, we believe in:
✔ Careful patient assessment
✔ Evidence-informed clinical decision making
✔ Individualised treatment plans
✔ Ongoing professional education

There is no single treatment that's right for every patient, which is why understanding the full range of available options is so important.

As podiatry continues to evolve, so should our conversations around advanced treatment pathways.

What treatment do you find most effective for persistent plantar fasciitis?

👇 We'd love to hear your experience.

📢 An Update from PODtox®

We have received a number of enquiries over the past few days asking whether the recent discussions surrounding therapeutic hyaluronic acid have any impact on PODtox®.

The answer is no.

PODtox® training and treatment are not affected by the recent position published by the Royal College of Podiatry regarding injectable dermal hydrogels.

✅ PODtox® training continues as planned.
✅ PODtox® practitioners continue to be covered under their existing professional indemnity arrangements (subject to the terms of their individual policy).
✅ We remain committed to delivering the highest standards of education, patient safety and clinical governance.

PODtox® has always been built upon evidence-based practice, robust training and comprehensive support for practitioners. That commitment remains unchanged.

We understand that recent events have created uncertainty for many clinicians, and we want to reassure everyone that PODtox® continues to move forward with confidence.

If you have any questions regarding training, insurance or future course dates, please don't hesitate to contact us—we're always happy to help.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Why add PODtox to your service menu?

10% of the population will get Plantar Fasciitis at some point in their lives, which can be notoriously difficult for podiatrists to resolve. Traditional treatment methods often involve patient compliance which as we all know, can lead to uncertain outcomes. PODtox on the other hand offers podiatrists an opportunity to treat this debilitating condition with one simple injection.

Research shows that the use of Botulinum Toxin gives superior outcomes to those who undergo steroid injection due to its ability to allow the affected muscle to heal naturally and rejuvenate, rather than simply reduce pain.

Example of profit your business can expect:

50IU of botulinum toxin = £82

Prescription charge = £20

Saline, LA, Equipment = £20

Total = £122

You charge £499

Treatment time is 30 minutes and profit is £377

(Example only for demonstration purposes. Prices may vary dependent on supplier and location)
