Many children with inattentive ADHD aren’t disruptive. They’re quiet, distracted, forgetful, slow to start work, or constantly losing things. They may stare out of the window, miss instructions, forget homework, or struggle to finish tasks — even though they’re bright.
Too often, these children are labelled as lazy, careless, or not working to potential. Reprimands, detentions, and repeated warnings don’t address the root cause.
If your child is consistently struggling with focus, organisation, or following through at school, it may not be a motivation problem. It could be ADHD. Screening and early support can make an enormous difference — not just academically, but emotionally.
