Activities Update
Our potato growing competition is well underway! We continue to check the potato bags regularly and have been making weekly visits to see how everyone's potatoes are growing.
The competition is really heating up, with our service users eagerly comparing progress. Everyone is trying to find out whose potatoes have flowered first, whose plants are the biggest, and many are enjoying watering, checking, and caring for their plants. There have also been plenty of discussions about how they plan to cook and enjoy their home-grown potatoes once they're ready to harvest!
Alongside the competition, we've enjoyed a wide range of activities this month, including:
Birthday celebrations
🎣A visit to Frying Farmer
🍛Lunch at Sunshine Café
🍲A trip on Route 1033
🌻Visiting Sandhills Garden Centre
🥘An all-you-can-eat Chinese meal
🤖Meeting the robot at Patrington Haven
🐴Pony brushing
🌷Planting flower
🇬🇧Visiting local landmarks
🌱Growing our own salad and other veg
With the recent warm weather, we have also placed a variety of cold drinks in designated areas throughout the service to ensure all staff can stay hydrated while at work.
It's been another fun-filled month, and we look forward to many more exciting activities in the weeks ahead.
We cant put pics of our potatoes, the competition is to competitive..🙈
