A calm morning yesterday as was so very hot, we played some board games and had a trip down memory lane with some nostalgic flash cards, the afternoon was a different story as we tried out ‘boxercise’ as you can see our resident thoroughly enjoyed it, couldn’t believe the punch 🥊 on some of them ! 😮

A fantastic trip out for Yvonne yesterday, followed by a lovely lunch! 🌸🤍 The food was delicious, and we were surrounded by so many beautiful flowers too.

And the highlight of the day… Aspi has officially joined Dominoes Club and has only gone and beaten our reigning dominoes champion, Joan! 😆

Have you ever seen the way a little one can light up a care home lounge? 💛🦋💛

We are SO excited to announce that Butterfly Buddies Intergenerational Baby and Toddler Group and Wild Acres Care Home are coming together to launch a BRAND NEW intergenerational group in Finchampstead! 📣🎉

Following our launch session on Tues 30th June, we’re hoping to run monthly sessions from September onwards.

These special sessions bring together young children and care home residents for play, conversation, laughter and connection – creating moments of joy, purpose and friendship for everyone involved. 💛
