The Full Moon will make an exact opposition to the Sun in Virgo, speaking to our will to pick up the pace. There’s motivating energy in the air that calls upon our need to express ourselves, even if the meaning behind our sentiments is unclear. Pisces energy will thankfully give us the space to honor our affections through art, music, and other creative forms.

The Full Strawberry Moon in Capricorn reminds us that we are the ones responsible to meet our emotional needs. And that it is normal to need others to meet our needs too. We are social beings, we are meant to connect with others, connection is literally what allows us to survive as a species. However, learning to feel completely comfortable, nurtured, and fulfilled when alone allows us to establish connections that aren’t based on holding on too tightly to the other for fear of being abandoned or betrayed by them. 🌙 🍓 ♋️ 🌕

The December 29-30 Full Moon 🌕 arrives in the sign of Cancer ♋️)MY SIGN!)

There is this sense of heightened emotions bubbling under this final Full Moon of the year.

It seems that whatever emotional weight we have carried may feel extra heavy, and in this heaviness, it may crash to the shore like a wave, drowning us in its weight.

Even though this sounds a bit intense, it is actually more cleansing and freeing.

There is this sense that whatever we have been carrying on our backs, whatever weight of the world we have felt on our shoulders, is now being washed away.

Cancer ♋️ is ruled by the Moon 🌙 so the Moon shines in its element on this night, big and full for all of us to see. As the Moon returns to its favorite spot in our sky, it is able to express its powers to the fullest.

The Moon represents our emotions, but also what makes us feel safe and secure. It represents our ability to nurture ourselves and to take care of our emotional needs.
