Been a little quiet on the brow insta frontier! I keep forgetting to document alongside tattooing full time 🙃 I'll be better!
Here's a recent fix up I made. My client had previous work applied not by me and wasn't happy with the result. We had an informed consultation and a deep dive into what the problem could be. We discovered that she would needed darker, more shapely and better healed brows to meet her requirements.
After learning her medical history and that she didn't want to have removal first. We decided the right course of action for her and for the best result outcome.
Due to existing medical conditions and medication the capability of my clients skin for pigment retainment is much less capable than usual. All things considered she wanted to still go ahead and I advised upon more frequent visits to counteract the rapid loss of pigment. I also advised upon a warmer pigment addition to alleviate the appearance of the ash tones of the previous work once settled.
I never advise hand tool Microblading to be permanent work. I actually love that is isn't. I love the idea for making something for someone that can mold and change with the styles and times over the years. I usually advise 8-12 months between full sets and 4-8 weeks for top ups after initial work. For my client here I will see her for top up and then full set 6 monthly to retain pigment much better.
Everyone is different. Everyone's skin is different. Everyone's circumstances are different. It all matters and it can all be tailored to YOU. Trust the process and you'll see results. 🫶🏻
