And already it’s time to reflect on the last few months. Not a single aspect has been quiet! I have been settling into a new job as cook at Stori Brymbo. I have had practical classes and assessments for my Pilates instructor course (where I have survived solo camping stop overs⛺️). Obviously there has been cooking sessions and I’ve met a couple of lovely new clients for nutrition and psych support. Hopefully there will be some time to relax in the Autumn 🍂 😌 See you soon 💚

🥕 Starting tomorrow! Veg Box Cooking at Ty Calon 🍅🥦

Join us for 6 weeks of practical, budget-friendly cooking where you’ll make delicious meals using affordable, everyday ingredients and seasonal vegetables.

Here’s what’s on the menu:
🍝 Week 1: Spaghetti with homemade tomato & vegetable sauce
🥔 Week 2: Root vegetable roast
🧀 Week 3: Creamy cauliflower mac & cheese with broccoli
🥗 Week 4: Fresh bean & rice salad
🥣 Week 5: Homemade carrot soup with a fresh bread roll
🍛 Week 6: Flavour-packed vegetable curry

Every session you’ll:
✅ Cook a new recipe from scratch
✅ Make two portions – enjoy one in class and take one home
✅ Receive the herbs and spices used in the recipe
✅ Take home a recipe card packed with helpful cooking tips

Whether you’re looking to save money, build your confidence in the kitchen, or simply enjoy cooking with others, this course is a great way to learn new skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
