Our little set up at an amazing low impact store in the Philippines and one of our collaborators - Roots Katipunan
They are selling our and offering refills too! We're sure many of you are aware of the impact plastic and other forms of non-biodegradable waste have caused to the planet, but did you know that before plastic was introduced into our society that we lived exactly how we are being encouraged now to save our home?!
Across the globe, refill culture was widespread. There would be containers full of essentials, dried fruit, grains, etc. Vegetables were grown and sold seasonally. Paper bags were used and products were weighed and you would take only what you needed. People would bring their own bags and containers to fill and so they lived a low impact life. Just as we are trying to revert to now!
We encourage as many of you as we can, if not EVERYONE to try to release yourselves from the grip that plastic has on your life and go back to the old simple and less harmful way of living.
Think of all that waste you will save, think of the Earth, the animals, the future for our children and their children and so on.
With our refill station set up, you will save the seas from being littered with single-use sachets and no longer will you need to buy and waste those dangerous plastic toothpaste tubes! - You can buy only what you need, just like the old days or buy in bulk, just like the old days! Whatever suits you.
Our toothpaste is natural too, without all the nasty chemicals. A truly eco-friendly alternative that does not cost your health or the Earth.
