This year, The Exchange Ceremony proudly honors Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. for his legacy of leadership in the Black Community. The Exchange Ceremony is a unity-focused ceremony and evening of excellence being held as an important step toward unifying the Chicagoland African, Afro-Caribbean and African-American communities, all of which make up the African Diaspora. We are bringing individuals and organizations together in an attempt to heal the wounds of the Middle Passage separation. This will be an evening of love, unity, cultural healing, and communal support. Guests will experience the taste of authentic cusines spanning the African and Black Diaspora in variety, cultural entertainment performances by special cultural-rich artists, special guests, live music, and more.
