Dr Baidoo is a qualified medical practitioner from the University of Ghana Medical School and a product of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK. He also holds a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology from the UK. Dr Baidoo has a patient-centered approach to care. He is married with 2 lovely boys.

Why would you need a fertility assessment?
- 1 in 5 couples are not able to fall pregnant after a year of trying.
- Many women (and men) would like to know what the status of their fertility is, whether or not they are currently trying for a baby.
- With couples who have had previously unsuccessful fertility treatments (including failed IVF or IUI), taking a step back and checking that all their bases have been covered before proceeding with the next cycle is recommended.
A detailed fertility assessment looks at s***m, eggs (quality, quantity, ovulation), the tubes and the uterine cavity. Various labarotory tests, ultrasound and hysteroscopy may be used.
