As Ghana’s population continues to age and chronic diseases become more prevalent, the demand for long-term care is expected to grow significantly. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimated in 2015 that 50% of Ghanaians aged 65-75 required assistance with daily activities, while 65% of those over 75 needed help.
