Welcome to the PINK month; OCTOBER.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
October is designated or marked globally aiming in drawing attention to this disease and providing support.
By so doing women especially, or the world at large gets enlightened about breast cancer, it's risk factors, ways of diagnosing and available treatment options.
Breast Cancer is also a type of Cancer that develops from the breast tissue which can initially be characterised by a lump in the breast, fluid from the breast ni**le and pain, retracted ni**le, and even Change in its appearance and tenderness of the breast which can be persistent.
There are stages of breast Cancer.
In advanced stages, it spreads to other vital organs of the body such, the liver, lungs, the brain, etc.
One can undergo traumatic bone pain or bone fractures as a result of tumor cells spreading to the bones as well as the spinal cord.
Self Examination of your breast at home is really important for early detection.
Visiting the hospital as early as possible if you noticed any abnormal development in your breast for further diagnosis is highly advised.
