Headache disorders are among the leading causes of disability worldwide.

They impact concentration, sleep, mood, and overall brain health. But with awareness, early and proper treatment, and support, people with headache disorders can still have optimal brain health.

Let’s promote brain health, starting with headache care.

The pain associated with a headache can be intense, disabling, and invisible to everyone else. What may look like someone "being lazy," "making excuses," or "overreacting" is often someone doing their best to function through severe pain. A person with a headache disorder may be struggling to work, study, care for their family, or simply get through the day.

Instead of saying, "It's only a headache," offer support.

Let's replace stigma with support and create headache-friendly spaces.
