Founded and incorporated in October 2008, Pagsung is a network of 40 Shea nut pickers and Shea butter producing groups working under a co-operative model.The group is owned and managed by the members themselves in a democratic way instituted and agreed on by all. Pagsung exists to empower women by improving their socio-economic wellbeing through the production of Shea and other local products with

in the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions of Ghana, home to the countrys’ most economically challenged.
