A newly sworn in executive of the Ghana National Association of Small Scale Miners (GNASSM) have vowed to increase their fight against illegal mining in order to totally eradicate them from the system.The Ghana National Association of Small Scale Miners (GNASSM) in their commitment to effectively change the fortune of the association has sworn in its newly elected national executives in Kumasi.At the swearing in of Philip Kwasi Akuffo ( President), Sampson Kofi Wiredu (Vice President), Goodwin Nickleson Armah (General Secretary), Alhaji Baba Ahmed ( National Organizer), Razak Abdul Alhassan ( Director of Communication), Janet Esi K**i (National Treasurer), Francis Opoku ( National Director of Finance), Joseph Blankson Aidoo ( Technical Director) and Victoria Adobea Guerrieri ( National Women Coordinator) for a four year term, the new executives vowed to heavily descend on the activities of illegal miners whose illegalities negatively affects the association.
