This is a very special time of the year and one which we must all take advantage of. Turn off your news source, your social media feed and go to your nearest woods. It’s bluebell time and they hit our senses and give us somthing scarce and unique. VOK Visual- Olfactory- kinaesthetic ! They look beautiful they smell divine and they make us feel good. No matter how crazy, things might appear, nature doesn’t care, it has its own agenda. Time spent in nature is proven to help regulate our dysfunctional Autonomic nervous system. Contact me if you want me to explain how but better still get out there and treat yourself to this beautiful seasonal experience. Perhaps focus your attention on feeling hopeful.

This is my Dads old fob watch. He died when I was 25. It’s an old military watch but I don’t know anything about its history. Whoever once owned it has now run out of time! When I’m talking to people about values they often value their health above everything else and I understand why. But I know people who are not healthy but are still happy. As I’ve got older I’ve realised that time is the most important thing we have. It’s the one thing that we will all eventually run out of. My struggle is to use it wisely and to maximise my enjoyment of every minute. Probably posting on Instagram is a complete contradiction, but as our Muslim friends may say “only Allah can create perfection”. Have a beautiful day and perhaps spend time doing something beautiful that makes you and others happy.
