Standing on the grounds of Harvard University, reflecting on an incredible seminar led by Dr. Christopher Germer, Lecturer on Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
With 18 years as a psychologist, 15 years as a psychotherapist, and 12 years specializing in trauma therapy, my journey has taken me through intense academic studies and advanced specializations. But it didn't stop there. My path also led me to train with shamans, diving deep into spirituality and ancient healing practices.
What I’ve learned —and what pioneering minds like Dr. Gerner deeply recognize—is that true healing requires both. Science without spirituality lacks the profound depth that touches the soul. Spirituality without science lacks the grounded structure needed for lasting integration.
True healing doesn't choose between the two—it integrates both.
