MANCHESTER HPB MASTERCLASS

I want to express my gratitude to Mr Thomas Satyadas and Mr Nicola de’Liguori-Carino for inviting me to be part of the faculty on this amazing HPB Masterclass.

They organised a very successful and high quality meeting.

I am honoured to be their friend

Three take home messages from this meeting:

1. Robotic HPB Surgery is not the future but the present. It is going to replace ADVANCED laparoscopic HPB SURGERY in the immediate future.

2. It was a compact, very esteemed meeting with high quality speakers. It should become a regular tradition bi annually in my opinion.

3. Central Manchester foundation Trust HPB Centre (Manchester Royal Infirmary) has become one of the leading HPB Centers in the UK and internationally. I am very glad to have been part of it in the past. Also to be able to visit them from time to time and interact with exceptional and gifted HPB Surgeons that I consider friends. They have become a fantastic team above all.

Manchester HPB Unit is delighted to welcome you for this HPB Masterclass, bringing together leading experts in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery and innovative practice.

Across two days, the programme will explore key topics including biliary and pancreatic disease, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and the evolving management of HPB disease. Through a combination of expert-led sessions and practical insights, the course aims to create interaction among faculties and delegates to improve shared knowledge for superior patient outcomes.
