Every child’s voice matters, and communication is where connection begins.

The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Nurture Nest Montessori & Neurodiversity Hub Inc., invites parents, caregivers, educators, and interested stakeholders to participate in the Speech and Language Webinar – “The Building Blocks of Communication.”

Facilitated by Dr. Sharlen Livan, SLPD, CCC-SLP, this informative session will explore the foundations of speech and language development, helping participants better understand how communication skills are built and how they can be supported from an early age.

Yesterday we officially started our Cake Decorating Class, conducted by the Office of the First Lady in collaboration with the Board of Industrial Training and GCOPD, right here at Empower Guyana CEOI.

Trainees showed up ready to learn, support each other, and build new skills for independence and entrepreneurship.

We’re so grateful for this partnership that’s creating real opportunities for persons with disabilities. The energy in the room was pure focus + joy.
