Hon. Manzoor Nadir Visits Charlestown Health Centre

We were honoured to welcome Hon. Manzoor Nadir, Speaker of the National Assembly, to Charlestown Health Centre, where he accessed healthcare services through the Adult Universal Healthcare Voucher Programme.

During his visit, Hon. Nadir utilized his adult universal voucher and experienced the seamless, patient-centred services available at our facility. He also interacted with members of our healthcare team and observed firsthand the quality of care being provided to the public.

The Adult Universal Healthcare Voucher Programme continues to improve access to essential healthcare services, ensuring that eligible citizens can receive timely, affordable, and quality care.

The Central Georgetown team had the privilege of conducting a successful workplace health outreach for the staff of Parliament.

Staff members were able to access a wide range of essential healthcare services, including one-on-one medical consultations with our doctors, health screenings, and personalized health advice.

A special highlight of the outreach was an educational session on prostate cancer awareness, which encouraged our male participants to understand their risks, recognize the importance of early detection, and seek timely medical attention.

The outreach also reinforced a key message: regular medical check-ups are essential for preventing disease, detecting health conditions early, and maintaining overall well-being.

We sincerely thank the staff of Parliament for their warm welcome and active participation. Together, we continue to promote healthier workplaces and healthier communities.

The month of May !!!!

May has truly been a remarkable and rewarding month for the Central Georgetown Health Team! 💙🏥
Throughout this month, our dedicated staff continued to work tirelessly to improve healthcare delivery and strengthen community engagement across Central Georgetown.
✅ Our clinics remained active and patient-focused, ensuring continuous access to quality primary healthcare services for the public.
✅ The Voucher Distribution Programme continued to make a meaningful impact within our communities through the distribution of eye testing vouchers, spectacle vouchers, and HPV vouchers, helping many persons gain access to essential healthcare services.
✅ We successfully conducted several community outreaches aimed at bringing healthcare closer to the people. These outreaches allowed us to engage directly with residents, provide health education, screenings, consultations, and promote preventive healthcare practices.
✅ Our team also continued to strengthen public health awareness and community partnerships while ensuring services remained accessible, efficient, and patient-centered.
None of this would have been possible without the hard work, commitment, and passion of our doctors, nurses, pharmacists, clerks, cleaners, drivers, security staff, outreach teams, and every member of the Central Georgetown family.
