衷心感謝耀能邀請父和我為TVB父親節拍片,雖父今之病情尚算穩定, 而自己之前腎病已痊癒,又投入急忙的PhD studied 但為了保持自身健康,不得不比之前放慢了小小腳步,真是要定期去耀能社區復康中心做拉筋伸展運動. 無可否認,父是癌4期晚只能靠標靶藥和荷爾蒙針續命,自己確實傷心難過,因孩童至成年時父要越洋打工而聚少離多,所以父子情是由JFK之后才真正建立,由06年入屯門VTC HDip 到現在PolyU PhD 將近二十年,其中6年我確實是有出來打工,父早年是負責接送餵飯等,三年前好幸運請到一位好的工人姐姐同我夾到和肯照顧我們三個人,特別在年初父病危時和去年底我患腎病要進出屯門醫院和天水圍醫院幾次,她的確幫助我們一家很多.之後,得到Elsie 和醫生轉介下,去耀能荃灣復康中心做物理治療… 很慶幸我們父子在五月初身體大致健康,便可繼續我的博士之旅.
過去兩年PhD之路是很艱辛,與碩士相比是十倍.馮努力GPA 3.6拎到6位數字額外 scholarship ,包括: HKGov EMA,可去內地買d AI edge n AIoT device 再做深入research multimodal machine learning with local LLM for cerebral palsy communication . 並衷心感謝理大副校在去年帶一位善長人翁來捐筆錢比SAO 每位受助者都會interview 當天一開門他說,是你? 你不是浸大嗎何解在理大出現?’ 我答, ‘是的, 在理大攻讀PhD跟Prof Kenneth學野,不亦樂乎…..’ 未來一年我希望趕得到pub兩份paper 和CN invention patent 因這三件事已完成了一半.

昨天去HKSTP gradation ceremony, CP2Joy 終於畢業了, 衷心多謝Howard, HKBU ALL Professors and SEN Teams 義務幫手和顧問角色帶領我, CP2Joy一齊行創科之路. 亦感謝Andy, Philip, Angel來我公司返兼職幫手. 未來公司會研發local LLM, IoT system 來支援my PhD research studied, 由於涉及研究不會用坊間cloud service so deeply thanks HKSTP 資助CP2Joy 買2部AI Servers 來幫助我或想研發AI System而自立的同路人. 至於我博士之路行了三分一,上月被政府頒HKGOV EMA award for RPg SEN Student 以表揚我PhD first year CGPA=3.6兼passed PhD proposal 現在正趕緊first publication 希望能上年底大broad 雖吾之殘軀已力痡,唯志向仍在而前行. 始終身為熟男本能要謀生和合群,才能達成另一目的... 最后衷心感謝浸大創業department[一眾浸大高層和 Becky P**n], CUHK ST Department兼我以前JFKC ST 秋姑娘,好友彭彭專程來捧場,與我這個'電椅阿叔'分享喜悅

thanks for the great support in HKBU, 希望其他人不要輕易放棄.以自身能力,創建更好未來. 其實一路走來不太順利,整個項目只能激發其他人和社會帶出傷健共融訊息和堅毅不屈的精神.

衷心多謝HKBU再邀請Howard和我去拍片宣傳SEN學生創業計劃,當然感謝幕后策劃人Prof Henry FOCK和Becky. 不過我覺得推廣之餘,是教要接受失敗挫折,研究成功機率是百份一,出市場而大賣者是百萬份一極有可能最后是賺到經驗,都是出社會搵份小工...俗語說心臟要夠強大,機會來是要努力拼搏, 堅持不懈. 這是我5年來創業體會,並無因此無帶來很多財富,但確實有感染社會功效.有幾次坐西鐵返學時是有人主動前來與我們寒暄一番,相方互勉.未嘗是一件美事.

昨天我去PolyU AR Department 拎張學生證,正式成為PhD student in Rehabilitation Science, 在此衷心多謝曾幫我寫reference letters and referees, 排名不分先后,包括,前創科局局長薛永恆先生, HKBU CS Department - Prof Byron, Prof Joseph NG, Dr Kristen LI, Prof Howard LING, external academic advisors , Elsie YU, Dr Clare CHENG, Tung Wah College OT Department - Marcus NG, 另外特別感謝我契媽, Lee Hysan Foundations 一直以來的支持鼓勵, 今次成功入理大全賴於HKBU Prof Henry FOCK 穿心引線悉心推薦我給Prof Kenneth FONG 與他頻密e-mail contact 不停去考核我對rehabilitation technology and research report writingability 覺得不太差,才可正式進入遴選程序,好幸運UGC最終批准和給予''Presidential PhD Fellowship award ''以表揚我這幾年在社會服務和復康科技上有一定程度付出和成果,而絕非填表簽名能入讀. 當然我最感謝是我爺爺[已去世了九年], 上月中報夢好開心對我理大會收您,張家首位博士生,我還說''不要亂說,poly 未有信來''他答''兩日后會寄來'' 結果,翌日理大確定正式取錄. 爺'請放心無論如何,我必定竭盡所能,自知體能好差,但從不放棄.正如當年您無厭棄我,還寵愛有加.'藉此,感謝Prof Kenneth 肯比機會我和願接'尼舊大番薯'真是並非每個教授肯收這類型學生,因基於捨難取易原則,而且我們日后對經濟效益與常人相比是低很多. 最后自己踏出此步主因''絕非充大頭,認叻,其實讀master身體已辛苦, 但當我想到父母將來百年歸老后,政府財力大不如前時,我會點.更何況我辛苦左甘耐,晤掙在啦.搵錢當然重要但裝備自己去充份發揮天賦潛能,乃重中之重.更何況未來二十年內全球政府都會主力攪創科,專利產業,更要利用自身優勢來自立,繼而服務社會,當有學歷,資歷和社會認同,才會有人願意投放資源給我. 今之修課式碩士根本是大學賺錢工具和很快過時.在我情況來說,確實要鬥精,並非鬥多,皆因常人工作速度,是永遠都跟不上.''

I would like to say deeply thanks for the China Daily Hong Kong Edition's news writer - Oasis Hu when she has written the great article to share my startup story and core spirit of doing society service experience, it is not easy to keep going for my dream in Hong Kong, everything has only focused on business oriented and innovation technology is only served the international banks and enterprises. I said no, because my IT knowledge can apply in the rehabilitation service and special education field. the normal people can only provide the service for them, but me, I'm a severity handicapped people and full understand what they need and easy to cooperate the various therapists in Hong Kong, such as OT, PT and ST. it is my own strength and cannot buy it from money. So, that's a reason why do not shutdown my company until now. I've never said ''I can't", but I would said ''I try my best, maybe succeeded finally"..
