Grateful for the opportunity to serve as Congress Co-chair for the Hong Kong Society for Surgery of the Hand this year.

This wasn’t just any year: it was the 40th Anniversary of HKSSH! 🎉 We also had the honor of welcoming the British Society for Surgery of the Hand as our partner society, leading to some fantastic and meaningful academic exchanges.

Putting together a congress like this takes a village. I want to send a huge shoutout to my Co-chair Rachel, the HKSSH Council, and the hardworking organizing committee. Thank you for your endless dedication over the past year to make this milestone event a massive success.

剛在香港國際骨科論壇上分享我們過去兩年在超聲波引導下彈弓指和腕管綜合症鬆解手術的研究成果。超聲波引導的彈弓指和腕管綜合症鬆解手術具有微創傷口、減少疤痕、恢復更快、以及低併發症的好處。期待在手外科領域進一步推廣這項技術，並在手術工具和技術方面取得更多發展。

Glad to share what we have been working on over the past 2 years in ultrasound-guided hand surgery at the Hong Kong International Orthopaedic Forum 2025. Ultrasound-guided trigger finger and carpal tunnel release has the benefits of minimally-invasive wounds, reduced scarring, earlier recovery and low complication rates. Looking forward to promoting this further in the hand surgery community, and having further development in the surgical tools and techniques.

【最新消息】港大醫學院QS世界大學學科排名躍升至第24位 香港排名第一

QS世界大學排名 (QS World University Rankings) 公佈最新2025年學科排名，當中港大醫學院在醫學 (Medicine)學科世界排名大幅躍升13位，晉身全球第24位！在亞洲排名第2位，為全港第一。

港大副校長（健康）兼醫學院院長劉澤星教授表示，今年多個學科排名取得佳績有賴學院同仁群策群力，追求卓越，和廣獲社會各界堅定支持，這成果充分反映學院的教研成就獲國際肯定。劉澤星教授表示：「面對香港日益增長的醫療需求和挑戰，學院一直致力於有系統地推動跨學院、跨學科的專才培訓，從醫護、藥理到基層醫療，培養多元醫療人才。醫學院擁有超過百位世界排名前2%的頂尖教授及優秀科研人員，在推動醫療科學及知識創新方面發揮關鍵作用，並正積極延攬全球人才。」

【ESF West Island School Talk】
We had an amazing time at ESF West Island School ESF West Island School , where Prof TM Wong, Dr Andy Yee, and Prof Marvin Chung shared valuable insights on sports injury and prevention with a group of 15 high school student athletes. Topics covered included shoulder, hand, wrist, and knee injuries.

By educating them on injury prevention and proper care, we aim to support their athletic journeys and help them achieve their dreams.

Honored to be invited by the Hong Kong Society for Hand Therapy to talk about surgical management of finger fractures at their 18th Annual Symposium. It was a good opportunity to learn more about the numerous non-surgical therapeutic options in the upper limb especially from the perspectives from physiotherapists and occupational therapists who we work with a lot.
