❤️糖尿病族:慢性神經疼痛,臨床治療侷限性高❤️ 糖尿病的個案,隨著時間愈久,會侵犯到末梢神經,導致:糖尿病足、周邊神經麻木、慢性疼痛等各種併發症。儘管神經電刺激已被醫學證實為有效的疼痛治療方式,神經電刺激必須在醫療場域長時間介入,「治療有效,但無法持續」是很大的瓶頸,患者往往只是短暫緩解,反覆受苦。若評估未達標,就全盤調整。
❤️高血壓:藥物逐漸失效,持續提升劑量❤️ 高血壓患者越到後期,會因為人體內皮細胞長時間暴露在高血壓藥物中,導致人體的血管受器 (Receptor) 進行負調控 (Downregulation),體內血管細胞無法有效感知藥物,血壓就會越難控制,此時只能增加藥量。但藥量的增加,伴隨的往往也是更多的副作用。

Many people may think modern medicine has advanced greatly, but in clinical practice, many seemingly basic health issues remain unresolved because technology has not yet broken through, preventing patients from truly enjoying life.
❤️Diabetes patients: chronic nerve pain with high treatment limitations❤️
Over time, diabetes can damage peripheral nerves, leading to complications such as diabetic foot, peripheral numbness, and chronic pain. Although nerve electrical stimulation has been proven effective for pain treatment, it requires long-term intervention in medical settings. “Effective but unsustainable” is a major bottleneck, often providing only temporary relief while patients continue to suffer.
