Lila led this beautiful and powerful Nrsimha kirtan, combining two mantras at once, an invocation and a prayer, sung together to the same melody, on the 24th of April in anticipation of Nrsimha Caturdasi.

You've never heard Lord Nrsimha chanted quite like this: the response chanters held the invocation while Lila, leading the kirtan, sang the Nrsimha prayer atop it, creating a rich, layered texture demanding all of our concentration to keep it steady. It was a wonderful experience. Hope you all like it!

Dear Friends! 😍

We’re entering deeper into spring! The sun is brighter and warmer, the rains are coming, the birds are singing, and all around the flowers are opening🌻

For this month, our theme is like a prayer… May we bloom! May the beauty we harbour within us open up to those around us! Like the fragrant pollen of flowers carried by the wind, may the fragrance of our own natural being spread effortlessly in all of our dealings! May we rejoice in the world and the world rejoice in us!

Please join us for kirtan, for relaxing and sharing a meal, for meeting and talking. “Let the beauty we love be what we do.”

A powerful kirtan from last Friday’s Kirtan Sangha on 24th April. We chanted this Nrisimha mantra, remembering our nature of fearlessness. 🤍
