Our Mission: To empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Each spring break, a group of roughly 40 MSU Students travels to Honduras to provide medical and dental services for a week to those who would normally not have access to care. With the help of amazing doctors/
volunteers, our group of MSU students sets up a clinic providing upwards of thousands of patients with medical exams, dental procedures (s/a extractions and fillings), optical exams, pap-smears, and medications as needed for the individual. During this time, the students on the trip also get to see and become a part of the holistic model of health/sustainability that global brigades emphasizes. After the week of being in Honduras, almost every previous MSU student could agree that this trip opened their eyes to a different view of the health field, and grew their passion to help those in need.
