On June 8th, Turbine HQ filled with a new kind of energy 💙

During EACR in Budapest, we welcomed more than 70 researchers, professionals and enthusiasts from around the world. What unfolded wasn’t a formal event, but something organic and authentic, with conversations flowing naturally, ideas colliding, and new connections taking shape in real time.

We believe innovation often begins in these in-between moments, when anyone from students to senior decision-makers come together to openly exchange perspectives. It was inspiring to create space for this.

A few weeks ago, our team — Kristóf Szalay, Dániel Veres, Gerold Csendes, and Imre Gáspár — visited the brilliant minds at Helmholtz Munich to discuss where Virtual Cell technology is heading and what it could mean for the future of drug discovery.

Meet the Turbine team at World ADC South Korea 2026 🇰🇷

Jerźy Woźnicki, Scientific Project Lead, and Neeraj Rao, Business Development Director, will be attending the conference in Seoul from June 9–11.

We’re also excited to share that Jurek will share some insights on Virtualizing ADC Development. The session will explore how Turbine’s Virtual Lab enables predictive modeling and automated validation of ADC and payload responses across diverse molecular contexts at scale, from payload–indication ranking and synergistic dual-payload discovery to biomarker identification and resistance mechanism prediction. Jurek's talks tend to become an audience favorite, so this is definitely one to peek into 👀. Day One, Discovery track, noon.

We’ll also showcase how lab-in-the-loop Virtual Assays can accelerate the discovery of synergistic payload combinations for next-generation dual-payload ADC design.

The best targets almost never reveal themselves 🔬

CRISPR screens are powerful, but available datasets only cover simplified and limited search spaces, while wet lab screens are slow and expensive. As a result, too many valid targets stay hidden.

In our upcoming webinar, Csilla Hegedűs (Senior Project Manager) and Krishna Bulusu (VP of Product Innovation & Strategy) will show how Turbine’s Virtual Lab allows running millions of in silico experiments to uncover what traditional screens miss: hidden dependencies, synthetic lethal pairs, mechanistic insights, and targets formerly invisible due to very limited therapeutic windows.

We will make the science tangible: stories presented through real-life case studies, showcasing a new way to rank and de-risk targets in weeks, instead of months or even years.

You should be in the room if you are working in target discovery or as a translational / computational biologist.
