“I don’t want this for myself anymore” is a completely valid reason.

Having enough time to move your body, eat slowly highly nutritious foods, playing with your kids, spontaneous traveling, working from wherever you want, and still making a positive impact and making bank on internet.

That life is possible for you too.
You deserve that too.
But no one can do the work for you.

Welcome to my space🌀💫

This isn’t overnight change. It’s been three years of slowly replacing and removing certain products from my every day life. Today I don’t really buy many products and make my own at home instead, but here are some of my favorites/brands I love and can recommend:

Zoefull • Mediterranean Wellness
Organic Apothecary
Thrive Tallow | Tallow Based Organic Skincare
S A Y U // fragrance + ritual
Indigo Luna Store
HARA
Studio K
RAW ROOTs | We Care For your Dreadlocks

And comment “HYDROGEN” for the foundation and water system I use and travel with everywhere I go.

Your body is always communicating with you.

I spent years studying disease pathways, cell death and what happens when things go wrong inside the body, and honestly… the biggest lesson I took from all of it is that prevention matters so much more than we give it credit for.

We wait until something breaks and then try to fix it, instead of asking ourselves what we are exposing our body to every single day.

The water we drink.
The food we eat.
The air we breathe.
The stress we carry.
The way we regulate our nervous system.

These things might feel small, but your cells are listening to everything.

I spent years learning about cellular processes, and one thing I wish more people understood is that the quality of the water matters.

Your body is made of trillions of cells, and every single one of them depends on water to function. Your mitochondria are basically your cellular batteries… and we ignore them way too much.

Energy, aging, recovery, resilience, so many things come back to how well your cells can create energy and protect themselves from damage.

This is why molecular hydrogen rich water became such a huge part of my own health journey.
Comment “HYDROGEN” get my free resources.

My own burnout and health struggles were honestly what pushed me to look beyond what I was taught in pharmacy school and start exploring the connection between science, prevention and holistic health.

I don’t believe science and holistic health are opposites.
I believe we need both.

The research, the curiosity and the understanding of how our bodies work… combined with actually honoring the environment we create for our cells every single day.

Your health is your biggest asset. Fix the foundation first.💠

Making the decision to quit my career as a doctor in cancer research was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. Because my entire identity was attached to the path I spent over 10 years building.

You work so hard for the degree and sacrifice your health and your twenties…and then one day you wake up and realize…

“wait… I actually don’t want this life anymore”

That’s a terrifying realization but these are the things that helped me finally make the leap and the exact things I now teach PhDs and healthcare professionals who feel stuck:

👉 Get brutally honest about where you’re actually at right now.
👉 Stop asking: “What jobs can I do with my degree?” and start asking: “What kind of LIFE do I actually want?”
Most people never ask themselves these questions because they were taught to build a career based on survival, status and security… not fulfillment.
👉 Go back to WHY you started in the first place.
👉 Find someone who already walked the path before you.

This is the thing I wish someone gave me when I was 28, exhausted and completely lost.

I left academia and cancer research 3 years ago, only 20 days after my PhD defense.

Since then I’ve built a coaching business, community, online income and a life that actually fits me, simply by using a proven high value business model that checked all of my non-negotiables.

If you told 24-year-old me that one day I’d leave academia and build an online business in wellness industry, I would’ve laughed in your face.

And before anyone comes for me... this isn’t about what’s better but about being honest about the life you want.

I spent over a decade studying, researching, publishing papers, teaching students and working towards a career that I thought would finally give me the life I wanted.

The problem was... the deeper I got into it, the more I realised the lifestyle didn’t match the life I wanted AT ALL.

Most researchers work far more than 40 hours a week, chasing grants, contracts and funding, carrying enormous responsibility, constantly under pressure and often earning less than people realize.

I wanted my income to reflect the value I bring, not a salary band somebody else decided for me.

And honestly, I was tired of building someone else’s vision while putting my own dreams on hold.

That’s why online marketing made so much sense to me.

Because for the first time, I saw a vehicle that allowed me to combine health, education, entrepreneurship and impact in one place.

Today, I partner with a wellness company whose mission aligns deeply with my values, my background in health, and everything I’ve learned about prevention over the last decade.

I’m my own boss. I choose my schedule. I work from wherever I want.

Of course there are trade-offs. Entrepreneurship isn’t easier. It’s uncertain, confronting and requires a level of personal growth that most people underestimate.

But for me?

Building something of my own will always feel more aligned than building somebody else’s dream.

And that’s exactly why I made the switch and looking back now, making that decision was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself🙌

“Girl whatever, you literally have comma PhD after your name”🤦‍♀️

I started my PhD because I couldn’t imagine myself working a traditional job. The freedom, flexibility and opportunity to keep learning felt exciting at the time. And honestly, I don’t regret it. My PhD taught me resilience, discipline, critical thinking and so many lessons that shaped who I am today.

But if I’m being completely honest, I also spent most of my twenties chasing a title I never actually needed. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that the degree would finally prove that I was smart enough, successful enough or worthy enough.

It didn’t.

What I really wanted wasn’t another qualification. It was freedom of choice. I wanted to wake up excited about my life. I wanted to travel, work on my own terms and spend my days doing work that felt aligned with the way I actually wanted to live.

Looking back, the thing I lost wasn’t money. It was time. And that’s the one thing none of us ever get back.

So if you’re standing at a crossroads right now, don’t just ask yourself what career you want. Ask yourself what kind of life you want. Because if you don’t want to become a professor or climb the corporate ladder, it might be worth thinking very carefully about where you’re investing your most valuable asset: your time.
