🧘‍♀️ Pre-International Day of Yoga & Final Preksha Meditation Session in Astana

On 31 May 2026, the final day of the International Preksha Meditation Tour in Kazakhstan began with the Pre-International Day of Yoga celebration at India House, the official residence of the Embassy of India in Astana. The programme included a yoga session and a peaceful sound meditation practice.

The trainers had the honour of meeting H.E. Shri Y.K. Sailas Thangal, Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, along with embassy officials, Indian community members, and yoga enthusiasts. Several participants were introduced to the Preksha Meditation App, and Mrs. Nalini Singhal, Director of ICCR, also expressed interest in continuing the practices.

A meaningful interaction took place with Mr. Sundar Ji, who conducted the yoga session. He showed interest in introducing Preksha Meditation among his network of over 200 trained yoga teachers, opening encouraging possibilities for future collaboration.

Later, the final Preksha Meditation session was conducted at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, ICCR Astana. International Preksha Meditation Trainer Riza Mukhametzhanova supported the session as translator. Priyanka Bulia guided Arham chanting and Samtaal Shvas Preksha, while Tina Kothari guided Perception of Long Breathing. Participants experienced relaxation, freshness, and inner balance, with many simply sharing, “We feel good.”

A special moment was the felicitation of Riza Mukhametzhanova, who had completed the Facilitator of Samtaal Shvas Preksha and Basic Teacher Training Program. The day marked a beautiful conclusion to the Kazakhstan tour, filled with gratitude, meaningful connections, and renewed inspiration to continue spreading Preksha Meditation across borders.

🧘‍♀️ Preksha Meditation Session at ICCR Astana, Embassy of India, Kazakhstan

On 29 May 2026, Day 4 of the International Preksha Meditation Tour began with a heartwarming arrival in Astana. The trainers were warmly welcomed at the airport by Riza Mukhametzhanova, International Preksha Meditation Trainer, holding a poster of Acharya Shri Mahapragya Ji. Her devotion and hospitality made the beginning of the Astana journey truly special.

The Preksha Meditation session was conducted at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Astana, in association with ICCR Astana, Embassy of India, Kazakhstan. The trainers were welcomed by Mrs. Nalini Singhal, Director of the Centre, along with Mr. Asset and the team.

Tina Kothari introduced Preksha Meditation and guided Samtaal Shvas Preksha, while Priyanka Bulia conducted a session on Perception of Long Breathing. Participants experienced calmness, relaxation, and inner peace. They were also introduced to the eight components of Preksha Meditation and the Preksha Meditation App.

After the session, the trainers had a meaningful interaction with embassy representatives, including Mr. Hoti Lal, First Secretary, and Mr. Arvind, Second Secretary & Head of Chancery. The day concluded with gratitude and the beautiful feeling that Preksha Meditation was warmly received in Astana.

🧘‍♀️ Preksha Meditation at Pradnya Institute of Yoga, Almaty

On 28 May 2026, a Preksha Meditation session was conducted at Pradnya Institute of Yoga, Almaty.

The first session on Samtaal Shvas Preksha was led by Tina Kothari. She explained the importance of conscious breathing for calmness, emotional balance, and inner peace.

The second session on Kayotsarg — The Art of Deep Relaxation was led by Priyanka Bulia. Many participants experienced deep stillness during the Kayotsarg practice in standing posture.

The feedback was encouraging. Some participants showed interest in continuing their Preksha Meditation journey, and one participant also ordered the book “Why Meditate?” through Amazon. The session created a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere, where participants felt motivated to carry the practice forward in their daily lives.

🧘‍♀️ Preksha Meditation at Kiran Medical Yoga, Almaty

On 27 May 2026, the second day of the International Preksha Meditation Tour in Kazakhstanwas marked by a meaningful two-hour Preksha Meditation session at Kiran Medical Yoga, Almaty, a wellness centre dedicated to yoga, therapy, and holistic healing.

The Preksha International trainers were warmly welcomed by Dr. Jitendra Rathor, Director of Kiran Medical Yoga, along with the studio manager and yoga instructor, Miss Aiegrim. Translator Miss Baglun supported the session and helped connect smoothly with the local participants.

The first session was conducted by Tina Kothari, who guided the participants through Mahapran Dhwani and Samtaal Shvas Preksha,helping them experience rhythmic breathing, silence, and inner awareness.

The second session was conducted by Priyanka Bulia on Perception of Breathing.She explained how conscious breathing can become an anchor for physical, mental, and emotional balance, followed by a guided deep breathing practice.

The participants’ feedback was deeply encouraging. Many shared that they felt calm, peaceful, and light after the practice. One participant experienced a bright white light at the centre of her forehead, while another shared a deep sense of lightness and relaxation. Several participants said they were fully absorbed in the practice and did not realise how quickly the time had passed.

After the session, Preksha Meditation App cards were shared with the participants. They were also guided to download the Preksha Meditation App, and were happy to know that guided practices are available in the Russian language.

Later, the trainers also met Mr. Deepesh Sharma, the main coordinator from the Embassy side, who appreciated the efforts of Preksha International in bringing Preksha Meditation to Kazakhstan.

The day concluded with gratitude, warm connections, and a feeling that the seeds of Preksha Meditation had been lovingly planted in Almaty.
