🪷 International Preksha Meditation Tour, Kazakhstan | Day 6
🧘♀️ Pre-International Day of Yoga & Final Preksha Meditation Session in Astana
On 31 May 2026, the final day of the International Preksha Meditation Tour in Kazakhstan began with the Pre-International Day of Yoga celebration at India House, the official residence of the Embassy of India in Astana. The programme included a yoga session and a peaceful sound meditation practice.
The trainers had the honour of meeting H.E. Shri Y.K. Sailas Thangal, Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, along with embassy officials, Indian community members, and yoga enthusiasts. Several participants were introduced to the Preksha Meditation App, and Mrs. Nalini Singhal, Director of ICCR, also expressed interest in continuing the practices.
A meaningful interaction took place with Mr. Sundar Ji, who conducted the yoga session. He showed interest in introducing Preksha Meditation among his network of over 200 trained yoga teachers, opening encouraging possibilities for future collaboration.
Later, the final Preksha Meditation session was conducted at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, ICCR Astana. International Preksha Meditation Trainer Riza Mukhametzhanova supported the session as translator. Priyanka Bulia guided Arham chanting and Samtaal Shvas Preksha, while Tina Kothari guided Perception of Long Breathing. Participants experienced relaxation, freshness, and inner balance, with many simply sharing, “We feel good.”
A special moment was the felicitation of Riza Mukhametzhanova, who had completed the Facilitator of Samtaal Shvas Preksha and Basic Teacher Training Program. The day marked a beautiful conclusion to the Kazakhstan tour, filled with gratitude, meaningful connections, and renewed inspiration to continue spreading Preksha Meditation across borders.
