From 27–29 March 2026, idsMED Philippines showcased its airway management solutions at the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital’s 25th Annual Postgraduate Course, “Airway Elite 2.0.”

The three-day programme combined plenary lectures with hands-on workshops led by local and international experts in Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology. It emphasised patient physiology, appropriate equipment use, and sound clinical judgment in managing complex airway emergencies.

At the exhibition, idsMED Philippines highlighted key devices, including Ambu’s aView and aScope for flexible intubation, AuraGain for supraglottic airway management, the Medtronic McGrath MAC video laryngoscope, and the Christie Flex VeinViewer.

On 6–10 April 2026, idsMED Malaysia held the Ultrasound Proficient Servicing Training (Part 2) at its headquarters, bringing together Biomedical Engineering (BME) staff. The programme covered a full range of Voluson ultrasound models and included specialised training on the Electrical Safety Analyser (ESA), equipping engineers with essential skills for accurate testing and verification.

Designed to strengthen proficiency in Preventive Maintenance (PPM), the training reinforced strict adherence to electrical safety standards while advancing technical expertise and best practices.

The 4th Annual Convention of PANGARAP reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) standards across the Philippines.

On 13 and 28 March 2026, idsMED Philippines took part in regional initiatives led by the Philippine Society of Echocardiography (PSE) across Northern Luzon and Western Visayas. The engagements included a Point-of-Care Ultrasound workshop with the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (PSUOG) in Ilocos Norte, and Echo Camp 2026 with the Philippine Heart Association (PHA) in Panay.

The PSUOG workshop in Laoag City covered FAST protocols, including ultrasound knobology, scanning fundamentals, and thoracic and abdominal applications. Meanwhile, Echo Camp 2026 in Iloilo City focused on enhancing diagnostic accuracy and clinical relevance through a competency-based, interactive programme.

At both events, idsMED Philippines and GE HealthCare showcased the VIVID and LOGIQ ultrasound systems through hands-on demonstrations, reinforcing their commitment to advancing imaging capabilities and strengthening partnerships within the echocardiography community.
