We’re delighted to share that tickets for the Dooagh Folk Festival 2026 Charity Raffle are now available in local bars, shops and businesses across Achill. ❤️

This year, we are incredibly grateful to be one of the two charities benefiting from the raffle, alongside Rosabel’s Rooms.

Huge congratulations to Stephen Gavin from Crumpaun, Keel who was the winner of first prize in our Annual Raffle - €1,000 cash sponsored by Molloys Pharmacy, Achill Sound! 💸 🥳 🎉

Stephen retired from St. Colman's just last year, after years of service to our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's St. Colman's Garden Fête such a wonderful success despite the weather earlier in the day! 🌧

A sincere word of thanks to President Catherine Connolly and Special Guest Donnacha McHugh for attending, our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, hardworking staff and the many supporters who gave their time, donated prizes, baked and contributed in so many ways and finally to the large crowd that attended and donated on the day.

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the incredible community spirit that continues to support St. Colman's.

Over the next few days, we'll be sharing more photographs from the day, along with details of our prize winners.

St. Colman's Care Centre is inviting the people of Mayo to join them this Sunday, 16th August, as they celebrate 40 years of dedicated service to the Parish of Achill.

The much-loved annual Garden Fête returns to Keel from 12 noon, promising a day filled with family fun, music, food and entertainment for all ages.

For four decades, St. Colman's Care Centre has been at the heart of the community, providing care, support and companionship to generations of families across Achill. This year's Garden Fête will be a special celebration of that remarkable milestone.

🎡 On the day, visitors can enjoy:

- 🎯 Wheel of Fortune with fantastic prizes
- 🎟️ Monster Raffle with a top prize of €1,000
- 🎶 Live music throughout the afternoon
- 🏰 Bouncy castles for the children
- 🎨 Face painting
- ⚽ A special meet and greet with Mayo footballer Donnacha McHugh
- 🍔 Delicious food including seafood, boxty, BBQ and more
- 😊 Family fun and traditional games for all ages

The Garden Fête takes place at St. Colman's Care Centre, Keel, Achill Island (F28 D997), from 12 noon this Sunday.
