Balbriggan’s Chain of Survival proudly celebrates the support of Michael Dawson Sr and Paddy from The Lark & the Irish Institute of Music & Song. Their help strengthens a town‑wide effort where neighbours collect Re‑turn bottles and cans to fund new public‑access defibrillators. This community‑driven push is making Balbriggan safer by providing medical emergency equipment where it’s needed most.

Balbriggan aims to be the first town in the WORLD to fully cover its population with a 24/7 accessible defibrillator.

MARTELLO TOWER DEFIBRILLATOR LAUNCHED

Today members of Critical CFR- Balbriggan joined Fingal Rowing Club to launch 🚀 & demonstrate the solar powered cabinet that was recently installed by HeartSafety Solutions.

The first solar powered defibrillator cabinet in Balbriggan, thanks to a special Go Fund Me campaign Balbriggan Service Centre. An investment by the people of Balbriggan for the people of Balbriggan.

Advertisement space will be made available for interested corporate partners with direct investment going toward a new solar powered cabinet. The best advert space in the town & re-investing in lifesaving equipment.

We specifically chose Martello Tower as an historical landmark and because it’s beside a children’s play area. Balbriggan Fc play sport close by, and whilst they have defibrillators for the club, their support has been monumental.
