What an incredible sight to witness tonight’s solar eclipse here in Ireland.

Watching the moon move across the sun and seeing the light around us begin to change was just magical.

A little reminder that sometimes you just have to wait for the clouds to pass. ❤️

What a fantastic day in Mallow GAA Blitz for Mothers and Others! 🏐☀️

It was wonderful to watch teammates and players from different parts of the country take to the pitch. All enjoyed the games with such enthusiasm, determination and good humour. The teamwork, encouragement and community spirit on display were inspiring to see.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the event. These days don't happen without a lot of hard work behind the scenes, and it was clear how much effort went into making it such an enjoyable occasion for all.

Sport has a special way of bringing people together, creating friendships, memories and plenty of laughter along the way.

Well done to all the players and organisers. Thank you for a brilliant day and for showing that team spirit has no age limit! 💚💛❤️

🌿 Passionflower: The Calming Climber That Grew Alongside Me 🌿

Some plants become part of our story long before we understand why.

As part of my A.Vogel Herbal Advisor Programme, I recently chose Passionflower for a special project. While researching its traditional uses for relaxation, stress and sleep support, I found myself reflecting on my own connection to this beautiful herb.

As a teenager, my family moved from Kilkenny to Limerick during a time of significant change. Growing in our front garden was a Passionflower plant. Its intricate flowers fascinated me, and years later I can see why I was so drawn to it.

Today, Passionflower reminds me of resilience, growth and the importance of finding calm during life's transitions.

For this project, I even planted my own Passionflower seed. 🌱 Although it is still small, it serves as a reminder that growth takes time, patience and the right support.

I had the opportunity to attend BioCare’s The Essence of Longevity seminar in Galway with Alessandro Ferretti this week.

The seminar explored the rapidly growing field of longevity research, looking at how cellular health, mitochondrial function, inflammation, DNA repair, neuroplasticity, and lifestyle factors influence how well we age.

What I particularly enjoyed was the focus on practical application. It is not simply about adding years to life, but improving healthspan — helping people stay active, resilient, independent, and cognitively sharp for longer.

Events like these are a great reminder of how powerful nutrition and lifestyle choices can be in supporting long-term wellbeing.

Thank you to BioCare and Alessandro Ferretti for a very informative and inspiring day.

🌩️⚡There’s something powerful about standing still and watching a storm roll across the sky.

The lightning.
The rumbling thunder.
The wild energy in nature.
