She who shapes the land.
And is shaped by it. . .
This is at the Heart of todays omen as we begin these prophetic days. . .
Shapes the Land
By Jane Brideson
I am
the force of nature
raw, raging, unrestrained.
I am
clarity, daring and grace,
bleak truth that sweeps away pretence.
Dissolving convention
I leave you naked in your skin.
I am
first snowfall of the waning year,
white strands amongst the grey,
stark, slumbering nature.
Your surrender to winter and
wisdom's embrace.
This morning I lit the candles in the windows and tended the Hearth fire, soon after I was guided to choose a card from the Wisdom of the Cailleach Oracle deck breathed and birthed into being by a visionary artist, poet and seer who is based in Ireland.
I came to sense today that the rhythm, essence and energy of this day was prophetic of that which is to come for the first month of the linear year. . .
It felt mysterious in nature.
And it slowly revealed itself, like the ancient one does.
A reminder from 'She who Shapes the Land' an Cailleach, of how we are truly interwoven (fite fuaite).
We are at once, shaped and shaping all that we touch with our Hearts presence, our most powerful currency (current you see) at this time on the Earth.
As I walked the land of those who have come before me, Corca Báiscinn, the Loop Head Peninsula, in the South West of Ireland, I was reminded of how this land has shaped me.
And still does.
I am humbly shown how this landscape moves me, and reveals parts of me, that I have found it hard to surrender to.
I remember all the women I have been here.
And all the tears shed at this place.
How each and every time I have always been embraced.
Today showed me the gentle strength of listening deeply, honouring relationships, listening to rhythms and the blessings bestowed when we are in reciprocity with our own nature and that which holds us as our guiding light.
These days are such a blessing to feel and sense in my Heart at this time on the Earth.
I hope that this message may land with you and speak to you in the way it is maybe destined to.
Until tomorrow,
