Wellness is more than just "getting through it."

Today as we celebrate International Women's Day for me it's all about our wellness!

A lot about the changes we see & experience from midlife is too often ignored or misunderstood. I’ve seen how the psychological, emotional shifts & physical changes can make us feel like a stranger in your own body. But you shouldn't have to navigate this alone or feel like you just have to 'tough it out' or 'get through it'.

My passion is to help you reclaim your narrative. Whether it’s through the education l share or what we discuss in a 1:1 consultation, l am here to help you understand about the stages, the symptoms & the solutions. It's about getting the right supports to thrive not just survive.

Thanks to you lovely ladies who joined me last night, 🙏 l always enjoy the discussion & learnings. I'm very passionate about ensuring we have up to date, accurate information about all things perimenopause, menopause & beyond!

A couple of key takeaways:

-Our hormones begin to decline from age 35yrs, not unusual to be in perimenopause from around 40yrs!
-Bloods are not used to diagnose or determine, it goes via symptoms (although always good to have bloods/tests to rule out anything else).
-There are so many symptoms related to hormone depletion, (not all about hot flushes or night sweats!)
-Our hormones, oestrogen, progesterone & testosterone are not just our reproductive or s*x hormones, they play an integral role & are responsible & are receptors for many many functions in our bodies!
And much more! 💜
