Bridge Drama

Bridge Drama Bridge Drama is an amateur drama group based in Castlebridge, Co. Wexford .

Our main aim is to present productions of the highest quality and entertainment value, while having the maximum amount of fun!! Our group is open to anyone with an interest in the stage or getting involved behind the scenes. Our year (officially!) begins in late August and the committee remains active until late June. In October we produce a show which has in recent years has been a 'Night of Come

dy' consisting of a number of short comedy plays. It has been held in the Porter House in Castlebridge and in the Talbot Hotel in Wexford town. No sooner is the October production over when work begins on the year's main show, a 3 act play which opens locally in February before heading off on tour as part of the ADCI festival circuit, where we've competed since 2002. The circuit production sometimes runs into May (depending on results!) but it's no sooner over than it's time for work to begin in picking next year plays!

Bridge Drama’s AGM takes place this Tuesday at 7.30pm in Castlebridge Community Hall. All are welcome. 🤗 If you are interested in joining our group, this is the best opportunity to do so! 🎭 Don’t worry, to qualify as a committee member you must be a member of our group for at least a year so you won’t be thrown in at the deep end! Looking forward to meeting any potential new members.
