That’s it! Less is more and I’m out the door

Dreamy bedroom by just make sure that any new mattress purchased is all natural. We sleep on them for half of our lives and most contain petroleum based materials like polyurethane foam etc.
- These chemicals off-gass and can be harmful
- Steer clear of anything that is antimicrobial as this can adversely affect the microbiome
- Just because it says organic or all natural doesn’t mean it is. As a consumer you have to dig deeper for all the information.
- WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE: Made of natural latex, cotton, wool. Made in the USA.

WEEK OF SWAPS: LET’S TALK ORGANIC
- Head to EWG.org or a list of the dirty dozen (which are the fruit and veggies you should be eating organic). Reason being, harmful pesticides that wreak havoc on our gut’s microbiome, killing the important and beneficial bacteria we work so hard to build.
- GET DIRTY - Buy local and eat some of that dirt! It is the only way to get some of those SOIL BASED PROBIOTICS 🦠 FOUND ONLY IN OUR SOIL. Helps prevent allergies, autoimmune disease and even skin irritations and reactions.
YOU CAN TAKE ALL THE PROBIOTIC PILLS YOU WANT BUT IF YOU EATING PESTICIDES THEY NEGATE EACH OTHER.
- GLYPHOSATE or ROUND UP - Steer clear of this scary killer pesticide, found in wheat, oats, corn, soy, and garbanzo beans. Amounts found in children's cereals, granola bars etc. ONLY ORGANIC FOR THESE CROPS. My favorites

WEEK OF SWAPS (WE WE ARE TALKING LAUNDRY DETERGENT)
I have not been in IG in some time posting regularly and I can’t wait to get back into it showing you simple swamps that will remove toxins from your body and home environment! ☠️
- The first one, DETERGENT. Might seem simple but detergents have a TON OF SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES that disrupt hormones, can cause eczema, asthma and other skin irritations affecting the microbiome and in turn the immune system.
- Think about it, you wash your clothes and the scent that manufacturers use is meant ot stay on your clothes for days! GROSS! Those chemicals get absorbed into your body through your skin (your largest organ)
- Simple swap - go with a fragrance free option by or even better for an incredible eco friendly option.
Simple, healthy, natural and effective.
