Symbols are everywhere around us, quietly whispering when we’re willing to notice.
A couple of days ago, one of my clients, after a journey of trying for a baby and finally becoming pregnant, messaged me asking what I thought about naming her daughter Robyn, inspired by the little robin birds she sees so often in her garden.
I smiled at the coincidence, because for weeks now, a robin has been visiting my own garden too. Not just visiting… coming incredibly close, as if completely unafraid.
And today something happened that stopped me in my tracks.
I was sitting in the front room when the robin unexpectedly flew inside the house and perched itself on the mantelpiece, right beside my photograph and the paw print of my beloved dog Cora, who is no longer with us🐾
In Irish folklore, robins are often seen as messengers from the spirit world… little visitors carrying comfort, love, and reminders that those we miss are never truly far away.
It made me pause with so much gratitude.
Was it just a bird… or was it you Cora saying hello? ❤️
Have you explained anything similar?
