We had a brilliant morning with the Dohnny’s Ladies GAA team. Focusing on looking after the body so it can perform, recover and stay injury-free across the season.
MaryRose kicked things off with a practical workshop covering the key pillars: injury prevention, proper recovery, nutrition, hydration, and understanding how the menstrual cycle can impact training and performance.
The goal was to give the players simple, realistic tools they can actually use both on and off the pitch.
We then split the group in two. One half went through a full recovery session.
At the same time, MaryRose took the other group through a fun, team-based workout designed to build connection, communication, and a bit of healthy competition.
The groups then swapped so everyone got the full experience.
