If you are just starting out as a yoga or pilates teacher , with a dream like I had/have and are wondering, will it be an easy road. My answer is a definite no! No one will see the hard work that goes on behind it all. Even those close to you will see snippets. What is going on inside this business brain is mind-boggling 🤣.
In all honesty, the studio nearly broke me so many times because I was unable to be there as much as I needed to be, but I had to prioritise my baby. But it's more than doable when you learn boundaries, when you set aside time to put processes in place, when you track your numbers, track your finances, and know everything INSIDE OUT.
You must learn because no one will teach you unless you pay them a hefty bill. I have learned so so so much valuable information, tools, tips, and tricks that have helped me keep my business a float while I became a mum. Mostly just being real! But the day to day running and staff management and all the things no one wants to learn, esp as a yoga/ pilates teacher.
Im starting to realise how valuable this can be to someone starting out. I've started journaling, writing it all down. Creating books, templates, courses.... It's all coming!
Among the chaos of my life as a toddler mum , working a corporate job and running a business, I have managed to finish my first ebook.
Starting from the bottom up. In phases, I will teach you what you NEED to know, what to explore, what to question.. It's already available for new yoga teachers, those thinking of becoming a teacher or teachers who have been teaching a while. The link is in the bio if you are interested. It's a downloadable document with a separate specific journal workbook to match the chapters, both included. So you can explore everything while learning.
Here's to spreading love and helping your dreams come true, too. You can build a wellness business alongside your job just like I did.
