Rested, refreshed, recharged 🌿I had the best time at home spending time with family, going offline, & taking time for all of the self care things! And with that… a few reflections👇
I, like many others, find myself feeling guilty for not being easily accessible all the time — whether that’s on social media, through texting or calling, etc. I’m trying to reframe that thinking in my mind — that it’s okay to take things at your own pace, to go off grid, to spend some time in your own bubble. It wasn’t always this way - before the world was online, means of communication were different. People had more room to respond in their own time, with thought & intention. So that’s my new outlook — good things take time. The world can wait.
In 2022, I hope we can all take our time. We don’t need to rush everything — not every moment has to be productive. Not every moment has to be captured through a lens and shared for everyone else to see. Not every message needs to be responded to instantly. Not every part of our day or week has to be booked & busy.
let’s live a bit more slowly & unapologetically 🕊
(that being said… when the lighting hits just right, take that selfie 😉)
