We are all still in this together and it’s a journey, but one that will end. It’s not always easy but we should try to keep looking forward. ➡️

Be kind to yourself and others. Do what you need to do for your well-being.

This is a quote I bring myself back to when things seem particularly tough or I’m having a bad day/week.

No matter who we are and where we are at in our lives it’s normal to have difficult days/ weeks or even phases.

I find it’s helpful to remember that those particular times and feelings don’t last though and everything is happening as it is meant to for you in your life. It’s about understanding and learning from our experiences.

Shifting perspective and considering that life with all its ups and downs is actually happening for you rather than to you can really help 😊

We repeat what we don’t repair!

This is something that has been coming up a lot for me over the last while as I continue to learn, heal and move forward.

We all have life experience and have gone through and lived through many different types of experiences in our life time.

Have you ever stopped and wondered though if you are repeating things in your life without realising it until you’ve done it?

Do you ask yourself “why me “or “how has this happened again?”

I think most of us have and some of us on many occasions.

It takes courage and curiosity to want to learn who you really are, what patterns you have and also whether or not you want them to continue in your life.

Life Coaching is an amazing way of really learning about yourself. Your values, your beliefs, your wants and wishes and how to move forward living life to the fullest and with purpose.

We are all aware of how tough life is at the moment. Everyone feels it in a different way on a different day.

We have to look out for ourselves, be kind to the people we love and even strangers that cross our paths.

We will get through this together and thrive in the future.

Have you ever considered how much of your life you spend working?

For the majority we work upwards of 35 hours a week.

That amounts to 140 hours a month and approximately 1,680 hours a year.

Most people also work 5 days a week leaving 2 days for rest, play and living basically.

So when you put it in to perspective we really do work a lot.

I worked in HR & Recruitment for over 12 years and over approximately a year I really started to consider my life.

I began asking myself the following questions:

*Am I happy in this job?

*Do I respect and like the people around me?

*What are my reasons for doing this job?

*Do I want more?

*Do I want to have a better work/life balance?

*What are my motivators?

*Is this how I want to be spending my life and skills?

I realised in fact I wasn’t happy doing what I was doing.

Yes, I had worked hard and was excellent and what I did and had a fantastic salary but there were so many other things that just weren’t right.....

I am now happy and proud to say, I took the leap.

I left my secure permanent role. I went back to education and now I am a Life & Career Coach and couldn’t be happier.

I am feeling grateful to have such beautiful places within my 5km to go to during lockdown 3.0.

Life just feels so surreal at the moment but there is something about being in nature, fresh air and walking that grounds me and gives me better perspective.

Things can only get better from here !
