They contain more fibre than white or refined starchy carbohydrates and can help you feel full for longer.

Many times we avoid tubers🍠because they have a higher GI than whole grains, such as oats🌾, and their protein and fiber content is much lower. However, we cannot see food only for the content of carbohydrates, fiber and protein🙅🏼‍♀️. The impact that food has on your microbiota 🦠 (microorganisms that live in your intestine) and the inflammatory response, is what will determine the hormonal response of your body (hormones regulate all the functions of the organs💪🏼) and therefore the efficiency of your metabolism🙌🏼.

Today, cereals such as rice, corn, oats, are much more manipulated for their production, providing less nutritional content🤷🏼‍♀️

The ideal diet goes "from the earth to the mouth"👄,therefore, the basis of an anti-inflammatory diet is to consume fruits, vegetables and roots🍌🥑🥒🥕🍠.

This is me, this is my story❤️

First, I would like to begin asking some questions that would help you to follow my story.

1. Do you feel like a balloon after you eat? 🎈
2. Do you have abdominal pain very often?😖
3. Do you feel tired or sleepy after you eat? 😴
4. Do you feel you have more gas than a gas station? 💨
5. Do you suffer from constipation? 🙊

If you say yes to the majority of those questions, you’re in my team! 🙌

I used to eat very healthy most of the time because I really enjoy eating well and feel I’m nourishing my body the right way. However, lately, I was feeling all these symptoms nearly every day and I didn’t understand why. It was very frustrating, if I was eating so healthy, why was I feeling that bad?🤦🏼‍♀️

Then, I did a program with called “reset your body”. I removed different types of foods that can develop a reaction to your body and thus, cause inflammation. After that, I started to know my body and to understand the sings it shows.

Some foods, despite being healthy, they might not be good for your body. Just because every body is different.

After this reset, I realized that Gluten was not my friend🙅🏼‍♀️, so I had to remove it from my diet. I’m not celiac but I have what is called “Gluten intolerance”.

After I did it, I was astonished by how quick all those symptoms disappeared and how well I felt😱. I was feeling so good that I didn’t even miss gluten anymore. I started discovering a new world free from gluten that I didn’t know of.

The reason I started this new project was the desire to continue eating delicious, eating the things that tied me to my roots without loosing how good I felt, share some information that I think it can help you in this journey of improving your quality of life and some recipes I do, so you can get some easy and delicious ideas🥰
