So we had another beautiful day of creation yesterday!π
Mandala making for the sports day in Castle Park School.. (it just so happens to be my primary school, so it was amazing to be back there to do some natury art)π
The fantastic Fitzpatrick, my fav geo buddy, designed the 7 pointed star mandala.(such talent!) We started off making it, then the kids joined in and finished it off. All the little hands had so much fun getting involved, and the shape took off as usual.
It was a first for me, to ti hold a Mandala workshop at a sports day, it definitely had its one unique quality to it, lots of excited kids!... the mandala formed very quickly as there were many handsβAnd it was just glorious to have the hoTπHot sun beaming down on us as we got stuck in to creating Magic with little huuman beansππ
Have a look at my pine cone collection... I've got a slight obSESSion with them! π Some of them I've had for over 5 years, and I keep obtaining more each autumn. They add the perfect amount of texture, colour and nature to each shape. They also present a sacred geometry pattern called 'Phylotaxis'.. (another reason why I love them so much).. which can be likened to the twisty swirly patten you see on Sunflower or Daisy heads... if you count each row going left and right, they should each be a number from the fibbonacchi sequence. Boom! π
So, thanks again to Castle Park for having us...π
Feel so blessed to be able to create magic with
