Deflecting compliments or thinking you owe someone something for being nice to you is a clue to your subconscious. And you may be blocking yourself from receiving gifts from reality.

We worked on receiving in this week's practice. Was a fun one. People even experienced moments of connection to themselves as an infant receiving from the first person to give us anything, our mother.

3,000 years ago, we didn't have an "inner monologue." We had "The Voice."
In Julian Jaynes’ theory of the Bicameral Mind, he argues that ancient humans heard their intuition as the literal voices of Gods. As our minds evolved, the voices went silent, and the "I" was born.

But in becoming modern, we became "deaf." We traded direct, somatic authority for the noise of constant thinking.

Today, we are doing an architectural restoration of the human system.
Through systematic nervous system overload, percussive "Bija" sound-work, and high load isometric tension, we are turning the volume back up on the signal that guided the ancients.
