Some experiences are difficult to put into words.
This was one of them.
For days now I’ve been trying to record a video about this experience. Yet every time I press record I’ve met so much challenge and resistance.
The inspiration to share it remains so strongly and over the years I’ve learned to trust those quiet inner nudges even when I don’t fully understand why they’re asking to be followed.
A few days ago I found myself walking through a graveyard that was filled with statues of Yeshua, Mary, Angels and saints. Normally I would simply just admire the incredible craftsmanship and devotion behind how they’re made.
After walking the length of the graveyard I began making my way towards the exit.
Then, for reasons I still can’t explain one statue strongly drew my attention.
When I stopped in front of it I was completely overcome by an overwhelming sense of his presence and a love so pure that words still struggle to do it justice.
My awareness was brought to two things he was bringing forward in that moment and these where
“I am always found in the heart“
“Lead with the heart“
I’ve carried these words with me everyday since.
It’s very clear now that this was an invitation, an invitation not to simply understand the words but to live them !
Yeshua has always been a strong presence in my life since childhood and not through the way of the church or in a religious manner, but in a very personal way, because of this it’s something I take very seriously and don’t talk lightly about. In fact it’s not something I talk very openly about in general, I know I’m being pushed to start and I must trust that too.
The short video attached was taken in that very moment. I found myself wanting to capture however imperfectly the stillness of his presence and the depth of what I was experiencing.
Whether you experience anything while watching it is of course your own journey.
I’d genuinely love to hear what the video evokes for you if anything at all.
My inbox is always open. If this reflection resonates with you or leaves you with a question I’m always here to share this space
